This is a charity quilt made for the quilt club I belong to. We give quilts to Childrens Orthopedic Hospital in Seattle, local Women's Crisis Support Center, dozens of fundraisers for people w/cancer and other life threatening diseases. One of our newest ventures was to join in w/the 1 million pillowcase drive. Only 4 created so far, and sent those to Ronald McDonald House by Children's O.H., Seattle, WA.
When this blog first began, it featured all things quilty and was titled Art From The Heart. Years go by, interests morph, horizons expand, and all of a sudden you realize you are a quilter, yes...but also a spinner, weaver, knitter, crocheter, mixed media, fiber artist. The art is still from the heart, but the new name reflects my excitement with all things fiber! It's Fantabulous!
