I made this quilt a couple of summers ago I think...but I just never took the time to make sure I had a decent picture of it. (When I first began quilting I was SO going to take a picture of every creation, humble or high and mighty, but we all know how THAT goes!)Saw this quilt on the cover of a magazine and went straight to my batiks and went at it in my favorite colors and tried for seasonality in each block. Somewhere in the process a stain showed up on the winter block...thus the butterfly fluttered to the rescue and added charm as well as coverage!
