Saw this quilt on the cover of a magazine and went straight to my batiks and went at it in my favorite colors and tried for seasonality in each block. Somewhere in the process a stain showed up on the winter block...thus the butterfly fluttered to the rescue and added charm as well as coverage!
Very nice quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt, butterfly and all and if you hadn't told us, no one would know. I am a fellow Washington quilter, in the Vancouver area. Enjoy the season. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJust saw your swan on the quilting blog, I like it very much and voted for it.
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for your encouraging comments. Just last night I was asked to post my latest quilt, since it had been so long since I had blogged. And this morning I find the comment tab and here you all were. Guess I should learn my blog site a tad bit better? "?}
