First Sale!

I am readying my Fantasy Fish wall hanging for shipping. The thrill and big smile of my first sale off the fiberartfromtheheart.com website! Okay, so it was purchased by a very nice, very supportive relative, but not a blood relative, so that is pretty cool anyway! (Thank you, Garth!) And he doesn't know it yet, but as the first person to buy my art on the web, his shipping costs will include a couple dozen homemade cookies...

Mtn. Majesty transformed to Mystic Mtn.

This is the little UFO quiltlet that gets its PBS debut sometime in 2011 on Quilting Arts TV. Beryl and Pokey had very good suggestions. But as I tried to implement them, the quiltlet just morphed as I worked! It is a totally different feel, and look, but I like it! I am learning so much! Everyone is so helpful on QA.

"Anticipation"

"Anticipation" is/was my final entry for the Quilting Arts/Bernina, 'Stitch This!" contest. I decided that, win or not, a triptych was called for. Thread painting has really been fun and I have several more scenes planned- my grandbaby wearing her 'going to Mexico' hat, and a pair of Adirondack chairs facing a sunset/mountain scene.
