Thanks to Michele

A few months back I wrote to Michele of Quilting Bloggers, et al, and she generously offered to let me yak about my upcoming life adventures. So, today was my first guest blog, and I am scheduled to share with readers once a month. Enjoy the read, leave a response to the question of the month on QG's page, and a lucky winner will be chosen each blog to celebrate.

  1. Oh everyone must head over there to read your post. It was a wonderful post and I am so jealous. Any room in your baggage? Yes yes I know there is a weight limit.

  2. I would love for you to 'stow away' but you would be crammed in with the dyed wool, hand dyes and rotary cutter! At this point I don't think I will pack more than a week's worth of undies, a skirt, a shirt and a pair of slacks. Who needs clothes? I will be 'arting'!!! :?}

  3. You will need clothes and a good raincoat. It does get cold over there, and rain. The clothes you buy over there will last forever. Here I am worried about telling you what to bring. When I went I brought way to many things and drug around a huge suitcase. One of the girls on the trip had 3 outfits. I taught her how to wash her clothes with a bar of soap and she taught me to just carry around 3 days worth of clothes in a backpack and leave the rest strapped to the top of the van. You will have fun. I am looking forward to you next quest spot. Thank you for sharing.

  4. I almost bought a raincoat at the seniors' center for $5! But I reminded me that there might be 1 or 2 available when I get over there... :?} I also want to dress 'properly' so it will help to shop locally. I do have to pack one fancy get up for a formal dinner I will attend with hubby the 2nd week after we arrive. Just writing this makes me want to jump on the plane NOW!
