Osprey: Airy Aerie

I love my osprey! Yes, even if I do say so myself. What a fun, experimenting, learning quilt to make.  Somewhat scary, too, having to make the pine needles right on the almost completed quilt...

  1. Hi Lindy, I love this quilt and so detailed. Isn't making art quilts fun? TD

  2. I am having SO much fun! I find the biggest challenge is 'pacing' myself-I want to do everything all at once. I have no problem interrupting myself and current project when a new technique is presented in an article, or I see something on a blog that sparks an idea in me, or something in nature says, "Try and replicate this, lady"!

  4. Frauke, I try to 'check out' the blogs of those that comment, as a return courtesy...and I am SO VERY glad I went through your blog! I was so excited to see Winter Puzzle, as I have done 2 puzzle type wall hangings. And I have a little mod piece that seemed to lack something, I had considered adding beads to the bottom...and there were beads hanging off Winter Puzzle! I almost hyperventilated over the rubbings and 9 patches-I learned so much from you today. Thank you!
